Helping Make Our Communities Safer Places To Live

If you are involved in a disaster, are you ready to take care of yourself, your family, and your neighbors? Do you know what to do to keep yourself safe and alive?

Homeland Preparedness Project is a non-profit organization that works with communities to develop citizen responders for emergencies and disasters. By building community-based teams of trained, prepared volunteers, we help make communities more resilient and able to recover from emergencies and disasters.

Our Mission:

To make America safer by empowering its citizens and first responders by:

  • Providing training to first responders.

  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.

  • Providing/facilitating volunteer opportunities.

  • Enhancing community preparedness for and response to natural and man-made disasters and other emergencies.

  • Educating citizens about preparedness and response to emergencies.

  • Providing resources to emergency management agencies.

  • Assisting local government agencies with creating and managing citizen volunteer programs related to Emergency Preparedness.

  • Encouraging personal responsibility for Emergency Preparedness.
