Our Programs

All of Homeland Preparedness Project's programs are focused on promoting citizen involvement in a safer homeland. HPP's core programs are part of the Department of Homeland Security Citizen Corps. These programs empower citizens through training and facilitation of volunteer opportunities in their community.

Each program has a different focus and allows volunteers to find the right opportunity to fit their skills, abilities, and interests.

The program requirements vary by program but, generally, you must be over 18 and a resident of the area served by the Citizen Corp Council. Children 14 and over are allowed with a responsible adult.

All volunteers working in a Homeland Preparedness Project program can track their hours of service through the HPP website and will receive recognition by HPP for their efforts each year.

For more information about the HPP programs or if you would like to start a Citizen Corp program in your area, contact us at info@homelandpreparedness.org . If you would like to sign up for one of our programs, click here and fill out the form.
